Citizens, businesses, and economic operators can book an in-person appointment at Tax Offices and Customs Offices using the “Atendimento por Marcação” service.
Appointments are booked for one specific subject only. If you have multiple issues, you must book a separate appointment for each.
How to schedule an appointment
You can book your appointment through two channels:
NIF or address changes (without a Citizen Card)
If you are requesting a NIF or changing your address and do not have a Citizen Card, follow these specific steps on the Portal:

- Select Para pedido de NIF ou alteração de morada para pessoas sem cartão de cidadão
- Choose:

Assunto: Identificação

Subassunto: Pedido de NIF or Alteração de morada-cidadão da UE e Espaço Económico Europeu or Alteração de morada-cidadão País Terceiro

Observações: Provide your identification document number
- Select the office location, then pick a date and time from the available slots. Confirm your appointment.
You will receive a confirmation showing the date, time, and place of your appointment.
Cancel or reschedule an appointment

- Navigate to
Contactos >
Atendimento por Marcação, log in using the credentials (NIF and password or Digital Mobile Key – CMD)
- View the list of your scheduled appointments.
- Select
Ver detalhe and choose:

Desmarcar to cancel, or

Reagendar to reschedule.
To cancel, confirm by selecting
Sim.
To reschedule, complete the form, choose a new date and location, and confirm availability.
